The checklist decides
Work through the council's crossover checklist. Answer yes to every question and your crossover meets the standard conditions, and you can commence construction. Answer no to any question and it is non-standard, and you may need to apply for council approval.
Industrial and commercial crossovers require council approval regardless.
The drawings named
For residential driveways the council names IPWEA standard drawings RS-049, RS-050 and RS-056. Use the rural design — RS-056 — where there is no kerb and channel at the proposed location.

You own more of it than you think
No gradient figures on the page
The council's driveway page states no gradient, width or clearance measurements — it directs readers to the standard engineering drawings for dimensions. Take the figures from the drawing that applies, not from another council's.
