Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
In short
We use the minimum needed to keep you signed in and the application working. There is currently no analytics or advertising tracking on this site.
If that changes, this page changes with it, and the banner will ask before anything optional is loaded.
This summary is provided for convenience and is not part of the agreement. Where it differs from the full text below, the full text applies.
This policy explains what DrivewayIQ stores in your browser — cookies and similar technologies such as local storage — and why. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. Strictly necessary
These are required for the service to work at all and cannot be turned off.
- Session cookie (application).Set when you sign in to the DrivewayIQ application, so it knows the request is yours and shows your saved projects rather than someone else's. Cleared when you sign out or the session expires.
- Sign-in cookies (Google).Set by Google during the “Sign in with Google” flow to authenticate you. These are Google's, governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Payment and fraud prevention (Stripe).Set on our checkout and billing pages by Stripe to process payment and detect fraud. These are Stripe's, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cookie preference (local storage).Your response to the banner is stored in your browser's local storage under
drivewayiq-cookie-consent, so we do not ask again on every visit. It never leaves your browser.
2. Analytics — none currently
This site does not currently load any analytics, advertising, remarketing or session-recording technology. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party tracking. Neither does the application: its typefaces, scripts and styles are all served from our own servers, so loading a page does not hand your IP address to anyone else. Our servers keep ordinary request logs, described in our Privacy Policy — those are not cookies and do not follow you between sites.
The banner still asks, because we would rather have your preference on record before there is anything to apply it to than add measurement later and quietly assume consent.
3. If we add analytics
If we introduce analytics we will update this page first, name the provider and what it collects, and load it only for visitors who accepted optional cookies. Declining will always remain a full-featured way to use the site.
4. Managing your choice
You can change your answer by clearing this site's local storage in your browser settings, which brings the banner back on your next visit. Note that clearing cookies alone will not reset it, because the preference is stored in local storage rather than a cookie.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies generally. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in to the application or completing a payment.
5. Contact
Questions about this policy can go to Contact@drivewayiq.com.au or via our contact page.
