Common questions about billing
Everything the software does. Both plans include every feature — the zone matrix and the Auto Profile Designer, checking against the rule packs including AS 2890.1, QDC NMP 1.1 and Brisbane City Council, rate-of-change warnings over any metre, the vehicle clearance simulation, the feasibility envelope, and the full set of exports. Anything added later is included too. The plans differ only in how many people can sign in.
Yearly, and only yearly. Individual is $349 a year, which works out at $29.08 a month; Team is $499 a year, or $41.58 a month across up to five people. There is no monthly plan — the monthly figures are there so you can compare against tools that quote one.
Yes — seven days, and no card is required to start. Your account is created when you sign in with Google, and the trial begins from that moment. It is the full subscription, so you can design profiles, check them and export before you decide.
You will see how many days are left every time you open DrivewayIQ, and it turns amber in the final two days. You can subscribe at any point from your account menu. When the seven days are up you will be asked to subscribe the next time you sign in. Your saved projects are not deleted — they stay on your account and are waiting whenever you subscribe.
Not at the moment, and it is better to say so than to let you assume otherwise. DrivewayIQ does not send any email today, so the reminder is the countdown inside the app rather than a message to your inbox. If that would be useful, say so through the contact page — it is a short piece of work and worth doing if people want it.
Yes. The vehicle simulation — 1,116 Australian vehicles, SAE J689 approach and departure geometry, and the occupant-load suspension drop — is part of both plans, like everything else.
Yes. Cancellation is handled in the payment provider's own portal, which you reach from Billing & invoices in your account menu. Your subscription stays active until the end of the year you have paid for.
The seven-day trial exists so you can decide before paying anything, and no card is taken during it — so there is nothing to refund at that stage. If something has gone wrong after you have subscribed, get in touch through the contact page and it will be dealt with fairly. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of anything written here.
No GST is charged. DrivewayIQ is not currently registered for GST, so the price shown is the total amount and no GST appears on your receipt. If you are claiming the subscription as a business expense, note that there is no GST component to claim as an input tax credit.
DrivewayIQ uses a secure hosted payment provider supporting major credit and debit cards. You enter your card on their page, not on ours — the only thing stored against your account is the customer reference they issue.
Renewal, refunds and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Account Settings → Subscription; your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and no further payments are taken.
Where the service fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund. Outside that, refunds for a change of mind or for a period already used are at our discretion and considered on their merits — contact support to discuss your circumstances.
